Forming in the United States from three members that met at college and soon dropped out to form this band, Iglu and Hartly soon got signed by Mercury Records from the UK and quickly started to gain international fame. This is their first single to hit mainstream and make charts across the world, "In this City."<br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Lak1s3ygwFM&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Lak1s3ygwFM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><br /><br />Turning to a more hard rock side, Since October is a relatively new band just now gaining recognition mainstream for their works. They are a bit different from his other bands Tool and A Perfect Circle, though they do have their similarities. Puscifer seems to me to be more eccentric and darker than the rest of the stuff Keenan has produced. His first album, "V is for Vagina," did fairly well, though I did feel it was an underrated album. Their newest song, "The Mission," is looking to be a good start to what could be a new album.<br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0XoGcSw565U&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0XoGcSw565U&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Their first single, "Use Me," made waves across the nation, gaining national recognition, and even reaching the 3rd place on the U.S. main rock charts. Their newest single, "Up All Night," strives to gain the same recognition. With catchy rhythms and a great singer heading the band, it is easy to see why these guys are rising fast. It never really occured to me that these guys were a christian rock band until I really heard about it. Most of you might know these guys from their most known single, "Already Over." Mammal is a great new band based out of Australia. Ever since I first entered their <a href="http://www.myspace.com/mammaltheband">myspace</a> page, I have been hooked to their music. They recently released their first studio album, "The Majority," on September 4th. The song I will be previewing here is the title track off of the album. If you like what you hear, I definitely recommend that you visit their <a href="http://www.mammaltheband.com/music.html">website</a> and listen to their other songs, you won't be disappointed.<br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZLfEH_TA5Z0&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZLfEH_TA5Z0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Tantric released their third studio album "The End Begins," on April of this year. They are probably most known for having an electric violin in the group which brings a unique sound unlike many other rock bands. Their single "Down and Out" has gained them international recognition. The song I will be featuring from them today is "The One," which was suggested to me by a viewer.<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ofAlnqK8YuE&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ofAlnqK8YuE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Pinback is actually a band that has been around for quite a while. Their newest single, "Don't stop," which is featured here today, was chosen to be a song in the new Madden 2009 game. The band themselves signed a deal to play during the Project Revolution Tour, The Wireless Festival, Lollapalooza, and a series of Club NME shows. Their newest album, "Die Tonight, Live Forever," is set to be released on September 29th, with their title track set to be released on September 22nd. Check back around that time and I am sure I will feature their new single. That is of course, if they can make it as good as this one.<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pyhSShullXc&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pyhSShullXc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />I am proud to present this next band. It is a little slower than a lot of the songs that have been previously featured here, but is still a great listen. The Voyces are an up and coming band that was actually referred to me by a viewer of the website. I would recommend checking out the band. They have more of their music up for download on their <a href="http://www.thevoyces.net/music.html">website</a>.<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gq5F_7MkZqI&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Gq5F_7MkZqI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Family Force 5 is back with their latest, recently released album, "Dance or Die." These guys are a blast to watch live and I will be sure not to miss their next appearance in Atlanta. Though their latest album isn't their best, it is still worth listening to. This is one of their latest singles, "Fever."<br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/703Zy_7kirY&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/703Zy_7kirY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

However, this week has been pretty big on new music. Metallica recently released their newest song, "The Day that Never Comes." It comes from their upcoming album "Death Magnetic," which is set to be released September the 12th of this year. This song definitely isn't my favorite from them, but I will have to hear it a couple more times before I make my final judgement.<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/shRRwZBnF30&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/shRRwZBnF30&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />10 Years have been having a lot of success lately. Their new album has a lot of good stuff on it, so I figured that I would share another one of their songs off of their latest album they released in May, "Division." They toured this summer on the Project Revolution Tour, which featured such bands as Linkin Park, Ashes Divide, and Chris Cornell. <br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zKxK6SD2tbE&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zKxK6SD2tbE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Rise Against has been busy this summer with performing at the Warped Tour and putting the finishing touches on their latest album which is set to be released on October 7th, 2008. After hearing it twice in a row on my radio, I still found myself wanting more. It is simply a terrific song. The band is on their third woman singer, and she sounds better than ever. She calls herself Sisely Treasure. Whether or not that is her real name is a mystery to me, but I like it. Anyways, without further ado, here is Shiny Toy Guns' new single, "Ricochet."<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Kc5mSvwuwV8"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Kc5mSvwuwV8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed> </object></center><br /><br />Lately I have been listening to a lot of Chevelle. A lot of their good songs has missed the public eye for one reason or another, and I wanted to feature my favorite song out of all of their albums, which happens to come from their newest album, "Vena Sera." This is "Straight Jacket Fashion."<br /><br /><center><object width="150" align="middle" height="50"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://www.muzicons.com/musicon3.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="icon_pic=12.png&music_file=AXYHcEAN&bg_color=000000&type_of_clip=whith_bar&text_color=FFFFFF&text_message=listening" wmode="transparent" menu="false" quality="high" width="150" align="middle" height="50"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Another great band that has yet surprisingly not yet emerged into the full public eye is Ra, one of my personal favorite bands. I personally believe that they are way underrated. Previously I featured their newest song from their album due out in the next few months. Listening to the album, I heard a lot of different styles. Some songs sound like a new style of Offspring, while others are slower, ballad like songs, while yet in others The Offspring returns to their roots to create music that sounds a lot like their older music. Needless to say, I love their old style type songs. Don't get me wrong though, the whole album is nearly flawless. I enjoy all of the songs off of the album and have listened through the album multiple times already. This is my favorite song off of the album, which in my opinion, reflects off of some of the older offspring style.<br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fRxHHZEqwpw&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fRxHHZEqwpw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band is an upcoming band that is rising among the ranks quickly. Though you probably only know them for their most popular song, "<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuK2A1ZqoWs">Handlebars,"</a> the Flobots have a lot of songs that could become hits. I believe the best quality about these guys is their ability to write good lyrics. Listen for yourself in my favorite song from them, "Standup."<br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FdF-YkECTVc&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FdF-YkECTVc&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band is also looking to boost their popularity. Recently they have been known for their song, "Paper Planes," either through the movie Pineapple Express, or other sources. M.I.A. actually has a lot of great songs, and I do not think that this will be a one hit wonder band for sure. This is my favourite song from them, "Bucky Done Gone."<br /><br /><center><object width="150" align="middle" height="50"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain"><param name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src="http://www.muzicons.com/musicon3.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashvars="icon_pic=12.png&music_file=AXYGdE0A&bg_color=000000&type_of_clip=whith_bar&text_color=FFFFFF&text_message=listening" wmode="transparent" menu="false" quality="high" width="150" align="middle" height="50"></embed></object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Shwayze is an alternative hip hop artist straight out of Malibu, California. Some of you might recognize him from his TV show on MTV called Buzzin', which debuted on July 23rd. Shwayze is an up and coming band with a lot of potential. With songs like this one, Buzzin, which features Cisco, I don't think he will have any problems gaining fans and recognition.<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1Utte1IAUqE&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1Utte1IAUqE&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band is also a band that is up and coming. They call themselves Tickle Me Pink, which I find pretty odd. They formed up less than two years ago in Fort Collins. The same day the band released their debut album (July 1st), the bassist, Johnny Schou, was found dead by the frontman of the band, Sean Kennedy. You can find an interview about the band through their <a href="http://www.ticklemepinkrock.com/">website.</a> This is their first single, "Typical."<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JTF20q246Jw&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JTF20q246Jw&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This last band is yet another up and coming one. It is also something that you would not expect from this site. I decided to get a little creative today. I first heard this song on my XM satellite radio, and it really caught my attention. After looking up more about her, I found out that she was the lead singer of a punk band in her earlier years. Now she is on her own, and is doing well with a new genre of music and being on her own. I first heard this song on the new watchmen movie trailer. I asked everyone I knew if they had any idea what this song was. They are both self produced and self managed. Ra is considered by many to be the most underrated rock group, as they really have not hit mainstream everywhere. Though they formed in 1996, they are still releasing music, with their newest album due out September 6th of this year. I recommend checking these guys out through their <a href="http://www.myspace.com/ramusic">myspace page.</a> They have quite a few hits and good songs. The song that I will be showing you today is off their newest album, which is shaping up to be one of their best. Since then, they have released a total of seven studio albums, which is amazing considering the extremely bad luck these guys have suffered. Neal, the lead vocalist, fell 35 feet off of a balcony and nearly died. Doctors told him that he would never walk again. He decided he didn't like that outcome, and rehabilitated himself from almost complete paralysis of the lower half of his body. Chris, the guitarist, punctured his face in a skiing accident which caused him to need facial reconstructive surgery. Taylor, the other guitarist, broke his foot. The band also had to deal with a few totaled cars, lawsuits, the drummer becoming a father, and failed recording sessions. Somehow they are still together to this day and plan to release an album August 5th entitled, "Life In Between." This is their first single, "Save Me."<br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Mm-2J8ivx3I&hl=en&fs=1"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Mm-2J8ivx3I&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Decyfer Down is a Christian rock band that has had lots of success in the Christian to p music charts with four number one hits. They have had a good bit of success in their music since they decided to form up in 1995 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Staind says they will be releasing their newest album, "The Illusion of Progress," while out on tour with 3 Doors Down this summer. I used to not be fan of the two man (well, one man and one woman) band. Lately I have been listening to the first song I will be presenting to you today, "A Martyr for my Love for You," and have been enjoying it thoroughly. A two person band is not something you come across often, so they deserve a lot of respect not only for pulling it off, but being able to create such amazing music with this seemingly handicap. "A Martyr for my Love for You" is The White Stripes' newest single off their newest album released last year, "Icky Thump."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nDfsYnjrOtw&hl=en"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nDfsYnjrOtw&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band, Scouting for Girls, is a London based up and coming band. Their self-titled debut album hit #1 in England. Their music is now traveling to the states where they are also becoming big. Their name actually comes from a play on words of the Scouting for Boys handbook, which provides young boys on good citizenship, first published in 1908. This is my favorite song from them, "She's so lovely."<br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gRn9q1SW8-A&hl=en"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gRn9q1SW8-A&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />The last band today is also one that I did not like upon first hearing. Their singers voice is oddly high for a man, and their looks are a bit wacky, and dare I say out of date...if it was ever in. The band I am talking about is Coheed and Cambria. Though the singing is a little wacky, I can't help but give in to the music and enjoy it. It really grows on you. This is their newest single, "The Suffering."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wCZMqx3PdFY&hl=en"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wCZMqx3PdFY&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><BR><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

They make good use of synths in their vocals to produce a unique sound that you cannot help but like. The group is probably most known for their live shows in which the group members are often seen breaking instruments and stage diving. Does it Offend You, Yeah? will be opening for part of the upcoming North American Nine Inch Nails tour, which I personally cannot wait for. The most interesting thing about this band, in my opinion, is that they got their name off of T.V. show The Office. One day they decided that they were going to name themselves after the first line someone said on TV after they turned it on. Does it Offend You, Yeah? Happened to be the line. This is Does it Offend You, Yeah?'s new single, "We Are Rockstars."<br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tf_Rv0hCF6I&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tf_Rv0hCF6I&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Metro Station is a relatively new band out of Hollywood, California. This band is up and coming and I have no doubt in my mind that this band will become bing in no time. Back in March they featured different fan videos on their <a href="http://www.myspace.com/metrostation">myspace.</a> The one I will be showing you today is the first featured fan video for Metro Station's "Shake it." The video itself is brilliant, and I know even if you do not enjoy the music, the video will not fail to make you smile and make your day.<br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/DAvyzqbwFL8&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/DAvyzqbwFL8&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />The last song I will be featuring today is a new song from Three Doors Down. The song is entitled "Train." This is already their second single from their newest album, which was released May 20th of this year. I have a feeling that this will not be the last song from them that we will be hearing on the radio, however.<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/I2IXr9PTtC0&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/I2IXr9PTtC0&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Along with this concert, slipknot is also planning to release their newest album "All Hope is Gone," which is set to be released August 28th, 2008. This will be the fourth studio album, with the last being released in 2004. The band has stated that they wanted to make this album their heaviest to date, and their newest single from the album does this statement justice. This is Slipknot's "All Hope is Gone," the title track from their newest album.<br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zvA0lbEr5qM&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zvA0lbEr5qM&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band is really working to break through. They are an up and coming band that works hard to promote their band. I have a lot of respect for bands that offer a download of their single, but these guys go the extra mile and offer their full CD for download at their <a href="http://thegrammarclub.com/?page_id=22">website.</a> This song, entitled "Bank Holiday," is a great song that mashes rock, rap, and electronica type music together to gain a unique feel that really captures and grasps your attention. I definitely recommend checking this band out and downloading their debut album, "Bremelanotide."<br /><br /><center><object height="350" width="425"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KtULBshJnso"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KtULBshJnso" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="350" width="425"></embed> </object></center><br /><br />The Dollyrots is a punk band that I have really been enjoying lately. Normally I am not really keen on punk, pop style music, but this band is really an exception for me. Their newest album, "Because I'm Awesome," has many good songs on it, which made it hard for me to choose which one I would be displaying. Eventually I decided to go with their new single, "Brand New Key."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/35Gb2HOhmtc&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/35Gb2HOhmtc&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

While looking at their supporting acts, I came across a band that I had not heard of before, Soulidium. I began to youtube them and check out a few of their songs, and was not disappointed in what I heard. I will definitely be checking out their CD soon, but first I wanted to show you my favorite song from what I heard on youtube, "The Light."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hxbYmDfkzKk&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hxbYmDfkzKk&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Flogging Molly is an Irish American band that formed in Los Angeles, California. I find it interesting that they have such thick accents and dialect yet formed in California and have been around for quite some time. As you know by now, I am a sucker for accents, and there is no exception here. It gives this song a little extra "umph." That along with the dialect makes this next song, "Requiem for a Dying Song," a great one. This comes straight off their new album, "Float."<br /><br /><center><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aWlkTPIX2i0&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aWlkTPIX2i0&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band is a brand new one that I recently heard about on the radio. They call themselves Jet Black Stare, and are up and coming in the world of music. Back in early 2007, Rod Black, frustrated with his past bands, set out and found the perfect song writing companion Jeff Johnson. Together they formed the band and music. A year and a half later, the band is ready to release their debut album, "In This Life." This is their first single from the album, "Ready to Roll."<br /><center><object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wzPX7YtEWSM"> </param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wzPX7YtEWSM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Their lead single off the album is "It's Not My Time," which is currently heard on radio stations around the world. Instead of showing you their lead single, I decided to show a song Three Doors Down did in honor of the National Guard. The song is entitled, "Citizen/Soldier."<br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LJRthpxDM10&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LJRthpxDM10&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Pennywise is a punk band that named themselves after a monster from the Stephen King novel, It. They call themselves Rammstein, and have been around for fourteen years now. What makes them unique is that they sing in mostly german. Though it is in a different language, it still does not make it difficult to enjoy this band. I cannot help but nod my head as soon as I hear their music. My favorite song of theirs is "Mann Gegen Mann," which roughly translates to Man against Man. To help you all out with the meaning of the song, I found a video with some English subtitles.<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/s72gIkHPC3c&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/s72gIkHPC3c&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band is a band that I have just recently featured. In the previous post I showed you the song that they are most known for, but I don't always like to show the song that a band is most known for. I like to show everyone more than just the singles. After listening to two of their albums, I picked out my favorite song from the album "Graffiti the World." It is entitled "Bottles and Cans." The beat for this song instantly captures you. Throughout the album you can hear bottles and cans of spray paint faintly in the background that adds a cool feel that I'm sure not everyone catches. The lyrics throughout the song and album as a whole are genius as well.<br /><br /><center><object height="350" width="425"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0Hp9aSpPT_g"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0Hp9aSpPT_g" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="350" width="425"></embed> </object></center><br /><br />The Ting Tings recently released their latest album, and in honor of their release, I thought I would show you my personal favorite song from the album. I really enjoy how unique and "far out" they go with their songs. Their music comes off a bit strange at times, but I think that is what makes them great. I think you will know very quickly what makes this song unique as soon as you listen to it. This is called "Great DJ."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/K8AH7yYQpro&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/K8AH7yYQpro&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />I debated a long time on whether or not to post this next singer. It is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine that I am unsure you all will enjoy. I have a soft spot for accents, and Lily Allen really has a beautiful one that I can't help but be swooned by. The lyrics themselves are fairly amusing, as well as the music video. The song is entitled "Alfie."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qRX57zprNdw&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qRX57zprNdw&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

I found it a bit odd that I haven't really heard anything about them anywhere, so I went to look up some information on what they were up to. According to their wikipedia page (yea I know, not the best place to look) their newest album was due out today...June 10th, but was delayed for unknown reasons...though it was most likely due to them being out on tour. The song I discovered was an amazing song that really pumped me up, and I wanted to share it. The song is entitled, "Motivation."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/h5L_5C_eCwE&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/h5L_5C_eCwE&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />Nine Inch Nails has recently released their latest album online, where they encourage people to download it for free. They offer many different types of download types and even encourage you to remix the songs, which I thought was pretty cool. On this website's first post ever, I featured their song, "Discipline." This time I am going to feature my favorite song off of the album, "Echoplex."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PTuUvWDOzug&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PTuUvWDOzug&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />While I was cruising across the internet I came across the band Spineshank. I had previously not heard of the band or any of their songs, so, as always, I decided to look up some information on the band. Apparently after releasing an album in 2004, Spineshank decided to call it quits as the members of the band did not have a good connection with eachother, and had differences in their views of what the band should sound like. It really is a shame they parted ways, as this song, "Synthetic," is a good song.<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/14MCf4TasmI&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/14MCf4TasmI&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />I came across this band on complete accident, by accidentally clicking the wrong song on a playlist on a website I do not even remember. I was very happy that I did this though, as the song had me amazed. Again, this is one of those rap-rock mix type songs that I am in love with. Definitely a unique and different sound, though it really reminds me of Hed PE. This is Dislocated Style's "Liquefied."<br /><br /><center><object height="350" width="425"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fM7VDh475cg"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fM7VDh475cg" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="350" width="425"></embed> </object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--

Most of the songs today are stuff that you have probably never heard before, as the bands either come from a foreign country or have a unique sound. I'll start today's post off with a band you have most likely heard of before. Filter just released their newest album. I was a little disappointed when I heard their song, "Soldiers of Misfortune," as I really did not like that song at all, but was sparked up again after hearing their next single, "What's Next," which is a lot darker than the previous song. Now I definitely want to hear the full album.<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/OoUu2kHzh7I&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/OoUu2kHzh7I&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />I came across this next band by complete accident. I was clicking around and all of a sudden I heard this song playing, and was instantly hooked. It has a nice sound to it and is catchy as well. These guys are up and coming. I tried to look up some more information on these guys but drew blanks everywhere I looked. This is my favorite song of theirs, "Weekend Full of Weekends."<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SaDUaVWEskY&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SaDUaVWEskY&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This next band has been around for close to ten years. They have recently received a lot of attention for their song "Ember Drive," which features corey taylor, singer for slipknot and stone sour. I would consider this song a softer rock, though it has a unique sound to it that I almost feel guilty about saying it is soft rock.<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zQv3OWBfcjw&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zQv3OWBfcjw&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><br /><br />This last band is probably one you have not heard before. They call themselves Rehab, and is a mix between southern rock and rap, forming a unique, almost amusing sound that I actually enjoy. The lyrics are pretty cool as well, definitely want to give this song a listen. This is the bartender song.<br /><br /><center><object height="344" width="425"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/KKCaTlEehFQ&hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/KKCaTlEehFQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" height="344" width="425"></embed></object></center><div class="blogger-post-footer"><center><script type="text/javascript"><!--
